Angel Chrome Base Coat
Angel Chrome Base Coat is a 2 part automotive grade polyurethane - durable, high-gloss, crystal clear, flexible and fast drying.
Flaming (plasma treating) this Base Coat is not necessary if you use our Prep Coat before spraying with Tin Activator. We recommend flaming for high stress applications such as car bumpers or wheels. See our Knowledge Base article on Flaming the Base Coat.
If chroming a metal part, we recommend you use Metal Primer before applying Base Coat. You can silver this base coat hours or weeks (any time) after it has cured. It may be lightly sanded before silvering but it MUST be buffed to a high gloss for the silver to be reflective.
